MOOK CAMP — Six Weeks. Zero to Disciplined.

MOOK CAMP — Day Trading Academy

Six weeks with Major Mook. You don’t leave the same.

A six-week options bootcamp for people who’ve never placed a trade — run by a trader who did it the hard way. No hype, no gurus, no lottery tickets. A phase board, a daily drill, and rules you don’t get to bend.

Who runs this

I’m Major Mook. This is my camp.

I trade options every morning with my own money — and I learned most of this the expensive way. I lost thousands of dollars before anyone told me my charts were running fifteen minutes behind real time. Nobody sat me down and explained order types, or position size, or why the first two hours are the only ones that matter. I figured it out one costly mistake at a time.

Camp is the thing I wish somebody had handed me: the whole path, in order, before the money’s on the line. You don’t lose money in options because you’re stupid. You lose it because you started clicking before anybody showed you the ground.

You belong here if

  • You’ve never bought an option, or you have and it went badly
  • You can give two hours a morning, five days a week
  • You’re willing to paper trade for two weeks before real money moves
  • You want a method you can repeat, not a hot tip

Stay home if

  • You’re looking for someone to trade your account
  • You need this month’s rent to come from trading
  • You want signals without understanding them
  • “Two weeks of paper” sounds like a waste of your time
The phase board

Six weeks, in order. No skipping ahead.

Each phase assumes the one before it. That’s the whole point — most beginners fail because they start at Phase 04 on day one.

01
Week one

Ground school

What an option actually is. Calls, puts, strike, expiration, premium — in plain English. No charts, no trades, no dollars. You leave this week able to read a contract and say out loud what you own.

02
Week two

The language

Long is a call, short is a put, bullish and bearish, bounce and reject and reclaim. Then order types — market, limit, stop-limit — drilled in your broker’s paper mode until placing and cancelling is muscle memory.

03
Week three

Reading ground

The five-minute chart and the only marks that matter: prior-day high and low, premarket high and low, round numbers, VWAP. Volume as confirmation. You learn what a level is before you ever trade one.

04
Week four

Live fire — paper

First trades, fake money, real clock. 8:30 to 10:30 Central only. Every single trade journaled: the level, the trigger, the stop, the outcome. You will take losses this week. That’s the curriculum.

05
Week five

Size & survival

Risk per trade, position sizing, the two-percent rule, the pattern-day-trader limit, and when to stand down entirely. The week most trading rooms never teach — and the reason most accounts die.

06
Week six

Graduation

Real money, smallest size the account allows. Reviewed trade by trade with your journal open. You finish camp with a written plan, a sizing rule, and proof you can follow both.

Daily drill

What a morning in camp looks like

Same shape every day. Times are U.S. Central — the market runs 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM Central, and camp only uses the first two hours, when volume is heaviest and levels are cleanest.

07:45
Boots onPremarket levels marked before the noise starts.
08:15
Roll call & planWatchlist locked. No new names added after this.
08:30
Bell — live fire opensTrade only what you mapped. Trigger, or no trade.
10:30
Weapons downWindow closed. No revenge trades, no afternoon rescue missions.
10:45
DebriefJournal every trade — level, trigger, stop, outcome, and what you’d repeat.
Camp rules

Six rules. None of them negotiable.

  1. Two weeks of paper before a dollar moves. No exceptions, no matter how good the setup looks.
  2. Two percent maximum risk per trade. The trade that’s “different this time” is the one that ends accounts.
  3. Journal every trade or it didn’t happen. Untracked trades teach you nothing.
  4. Weapons down at 10:30. The market is open tomorrow. Your account might not be.
  5. No same-day-expiry lottery tickets in camp. You’re learning a method, not buying scratch-offs.
  6. You place every order yourself. Nobody at camp touches your brokerage. Ever.
Your kit

Show up with this on day one

A brokerage

Funded and options-enabled. $200 minimum; $500–$1,000 gives you room to size sensibly. You control it, always.

Charts

A charting account with real-time data, including the options feed. Delayed charts will teach you the wrong lessons.

Two hours

7:45 to 10:45 Central, five mornings a week. Camp doesn’t work in fragments.

A journal

Paper notebook or a spreadsheet — doesn’t matter. It gets filled in every single day.

Before you enlist Camp teaches a method — it does not promise income. Options can lose money quickly, including all of it. Nothing here is financial advice, no outcome is guaranteed, and every order is placed by you, in your own account. If anyone offers to trade it for you, walk away. All sales are final — no refunds.
Straight answers

Before you ask

Do I need any experience?

None. Camp is built for people whose honest answer to “what’s a call?” is “no idea.” Phase 01 assumes zero.

How much money do I need to trade?

Nothing for the first three weeks — it’s all paper. For Phase 06 you’ll want $200 at minimum in your own brokerage; $500–$1,000 is more comfortable. That money is separate from tuition and stays yours.

Will you trade my account for me?

No, and nobody reputable will. Camp never asks for your login, and you place every order yourself. That’s rule six for a reason.

What if I fall behind a phase?

You repeat it. The board is a sequence, not a schedule to race. Falling behind costs you time; skipping ahead costs you money.

Is this financial advice?

No. It’s education. You’re learning a repeatable method and risk discipline — what you do with it is your call and your responsibility.

What happens after graduation?

You leave with a written plan, a sizing rule, and a filled journal. Where you take it from there is up to you.

How does War work — the price and the term?

War is $1,000, paid up front, for a 6-week live term — the full program, live, direct with Major Mook. When the term ends you get one month of Basic Training free; after that, stay on Basic ($100/mo) or re-enlist in War for another term.

What’s your refund policy?

All sales are final — no refunds. Every tier gives you immediate access to digital material, live rooms and community, so payments cannot be refunded once you’re in. Know what you’re enlisting for before you pay. If you’re unsure, start free as a Civilian and look around first — that’s exactly what it’s there for.
